Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Maria built her professional foundation in the advertising and promotional products industry early in her career. After graduating from college, she worked in advertising agencies and later in a family-owned promotional products company, where she gained hands-on experience in silkscreen printing, client management, and business administration. From the very beginning, Maria was responsible not only for her own clients, but also for overseeing operational and administrative processes—giving her a complete, practical understanding of how promotional products are created, managed, and delivered.
After moving to the United States, Maria continued in the promotional products industry, working on the supplier side for a company specializing in telephone cards and plastic cards, including membership and club cards. In this role, she led international sales efforts and developed in-depth knowledge of lithography and large-scale print production. Over the years, she has also worked with pad printing and multiple other printing systems, building strong technical expertise across a wide range of production methods.
With more than three decades of experience in promotional products, Maria brings a rare blend of strategic marketing insight, production knowledge, and client-focused service. As the Founder of Promo Plus Marketing, a woman- and Latina-owned business, she leads a small, service-driven company that works with clients nationwide, including corporations, schools, real estate professionals, and nonprofit organizations.
